Rosa, 36, is married and her husband’s a carpenter. They’ve had five children. The 16-year-old attends 9th grade, the second one who is 14 attends 8th grade, the third who is 12 attends 6th grade, the fourth who is 10 attends 4th grade and the fifth who is 8 is in first grade. The two oldest children must work and go to school at the same time.
She’s employed as a domestic employee and says that she’s done domestic chores since she was a girl since her mother would have her do them. She also works in agriculture and to get to her place of work takes 20 minutes on the bus. She’s the only one in her family doing this type of work and she works irregular hours.
The loan she’s requesting is to buy beds so her children can sleep more comfortably. This will make it possible for her children to be safe from exposure to insects or bacteria that can affect their health because they won’t be sleeping in the same bed anymore.
Her wish is for her and her husband to have better jobs and to live comfortably in a proper place and that her children stay in school so that they can be professionals in future with university careers. All of this will be accomplished with much effort and dedication from her and her husband.
